Microsoft Exchange Server is a mail server and calendar server developed by Microsoft. It runs exclusively on Windows Server operating systems. There were a number of versions: the first was Exchange Server 4.0; Exchange Server 2016 is the current version - and the upcoming Exchange Server 2019 will be available from November.
